He has put together a high-powered team that serves our investors and takes care of their every need. People were shocked we had the foresight to do this, but it wasn’t surprising for those of us that were paying attention to the fundamentals.”
Bakersfield. It kind of reminds you of Jacksonville, doesn’t it? Neither city brings to mind a flashy image. Both are simple, hardworking, and fundamentally-sound investment cities. Ignoring hype has allowed Jim to purchase nearly 1,000 properties with a value of over $200,000,000. Many have been sold over the years, but he currently hold hundreds of properties in Jacksonville. All of our properties are in the same neighborhoods as our investors. For every great deal JAX sells to an investor, we buy one for ourselves. That way, there is no confusion where our loyalties are. We believe in the investments we provide, and we back it up with our own money.

When asked what he thought was the secret to their success Jim said, “I’ve always focused on our niche. A lot of investors get distracted by new investment methods and property types, but we’ve always stuck with the same system. We build new construction single family homes and small family unit dwellings, fill them with long-term renters, then hold them long-term for cash flow and appreciation.”

Jim is married to Jamie and is the father of two sons, Alden and Leland, and 2 daughters, Maggie and Sammy.

We have a 3rd party company that provides insurance for the property and have a professional property management team in place.
